| Smokey's Memorial Comments Page The Great Smokey -- I first met Smokey on SOMC when I was drawn into the love for kitty's everyone shared. Smokey had the most unusual markings and was so memorable, and her human was one of the regulars who always made me laugh so I know Smokey had a wonderful and blessed long life with her human companions. Condolences to you, and your loved ones, who were so fortunate to share such a long time with your Smokey. Extra strokes for Mishka. Love, v I have know Smokey for a long time. Jackie is a friend from Elementary school days. I just saw Smokey last July. She was enjoying her nap! - Debbie in memory of Smokey -- I'm Mishka's breeder - and so glad Jackie got Mishka almost 18 months ago now to help console their mommy! I knew Smokey from visiting at her house - what an elegant "older lady" she was - and kept Mishka in line too sometimes. - Pat I had seen her from her sister's Catster page and met them from SOMC. Smokey was such a beautiful girl and so full of personality! When I lost my boys JJ & Speck at the age of 17, I thought I would never quit grieving, but after finding so many new friends on Catster (Navin R. Johnson Davis), the Rainbow Bridge, and SOMC, I discovered I was not the only one who felt this way. In time the pain eases slowly and even though I think of them daily, it does becomes less painful. Your memories of past kitties are the best company, and photos help, and when you take them out and reflect, you will soon be able to smile through your tears. Your other kitties will never replace them, but will fill your life with new joy and memories.
